The Pittsburgh Business Times recently announced the finalists for their annual Best Places to Work in Western Pennsylvania, as determined by an online, anonymous survey of employees. For the fifth consecutive year, JF&CS is on that list. And for the third year in a row, our staff ranked most favorably the category of “Trust with Coworkers.”
This comes as no surprise to me. Whether collaborating on larger community programs or putting their heads together to solve the needs of just one of the 7,898 clients served this past fiscal year, JF&CS staff knows they can call on their colleagues across the hall or across the department.
While our country continues to face such trying economic times, our staff is asked to help the growing number of individuals and families turning to JF&CS. I do not doubt that staff’s trust in one another is a significant contributor to our agency’s ability to serve all those who call on us.
For continuously going above and beyond, thank you to our professional and compassionate staff for your dedication to JF&CS’s mission, our clients and one another. I am proud to call each of you my colleague.
